  • ---New---Host Families Needed
    Dear Parents,
    We have a wonderful opportunity for our school and for your family to host a South Korean student for the 2010-11 school year. 
                These are Christian students in Grades 4-12.  We are looking for host families who would like to experience an exciting cultural exchange and broaden perspectives on the world.  Hosting an exchange student is much like having an adopted son or daughter for a year at a time without the lifelong commitment.  It will be a great education experience for all the people involved, and it will be lot of fun!  The students, who are carefully selected, come to your hope hoping to learn and experience American culture, language and values.
                Host families would be compensated $300-$500 per month for food, lodging, love and commuting to school.  This monthly allotment could also help pay tuition for your own child.  Host families will also not have to pay the Maranatha Enrollment fee for one their own children ($265 for Elementary or $295 for Secondary).

    Order gift cards for everyday shopping and as gifts for friends and family.  Plan ahead for your shopping and buy cards in advace. 
     
    Pick up order forms in any Maranatha office or click below to print an order form.
     
     
     
     
    To order online, enter Marantha's code that is on the letter that was sent to you.  If you cannot remember it, please contact Pam Laffler at lafflerp@ma-kc.org or 913-631-0637.
     
    All orders must be in by Monday mornings at 9:00 am to any school office.  Please indicate on order form what office you would like to pick them up from:  North Campus, South Campus Elementary, or the High School Office.
     
    You can order online at www.glscrip.com and you can reaload your gift cards online as well, so that there is no waiting.  The cards must have already been purchased through SCRIP with Maranatha in order to reload.
     
    Maranatha will place all orders weekly on Monday Mornings and you can pick up gift cards anytime beginning the following Thursday morning.  Your order cannot be processed until payment has been made to the school office or online.  Make checks out to Maranatha Academy.  All cards, whether ordered by order form or online, can be picked up at the school office.
